Welcome to Feline Care

Our purpose built Cat Rescue Centre is set in three acres of rural and tranquil cat paradise! We offer all our cats a loving home with the hope of finding them their very own 'forever' home.

The main facility comprises large communal living areas and is uPVC double-glazed with under floor heating. We also have a well equipped Intensive Care Unit for poorly cats and nervous cats who require special handling. Our Jellicle pens give feral cats a secure temporary home while recovering from their operations as part of our "neuter and return" scheme.

As part of our dedication to the happiness of our residents we rely almost entirely on volunteers. This guarantees that every person working with the cats is there because they love them thus ensuring big purrs all round. We always have room for more volunteers so please get in touch if you have a spare morning to donate... cats can never have enough cuddles!

Enjoy browsing our website and please let us know if you have any comments or queries.

News

We are regularly asked what people can buy us while they do their 'weekly shop' so please consider adding a Vileda Magic Mop Refil Head to your trolley! We get through them at quite a rate with the amount of tiles we scrub on a daily basis. Help us keep the cats bedrooms neat and tidy!

Please check out our "wishlist" for more ideas of gifts for the Centre.

Easter Sunday Family Funday!

What a disastrous day for weather but what fabulous supporters we have! With the snowfall we all feared we'd be eating left over Easter eggs and cakes until Christmas!

Thank you to everyone who attended, and gave so very generously, as the day was a huge success all round.

Keep your eyes on our events page for more opportunities to support our cats!

Jester's lucky adventure!

Late one night when one of our volunteers was trapping for feral cats on an industrial site he came upon a noisy little surprise... Jester the scared and hungry 7 month old kitten.

Realising immediately that the young ginger tabby was in no way feral (wild) Joe made him up a cage in our Intensive Care Unit and scanned him for a microchip. Thankfully the little fellow was microchipped and we were able to contact his owners first thing the following morning.

Imagine our surprise when we found out that Jester had travelled over 100 miles from his home in Buckinghamshire in a delivery lorry before escaping when it arrived back at the warehouse here in Norfolk!

Not wanting to miss the opportunity to tell everyone how important microchipping your cat is we swiftly contacted our local press and no one could resist lucky Jesters story!
