Charlie (was Pingu)
December 2009:
"Just thought we would send a few pics of Charlie (then Pingu) to show you how he has settled in! He is a great cat and although he eats us out of house and home and is a little monkey sometimes he always wins us over with his big eyes and constant cuddles! Jess and him did not get on too well at the start as we guessed but they are learning there is room for 2 of them in the house!!
Charlie asked me to let you know how he was getting on:
Hi Molly and friends, I am writing this from the comfort of my own fleecy bed can you believe it! It’s the lap of luxury here! When I arrived here at my new home I wasn’t scared at all, I think it was more of a shock for Jess who used to live with you all but now lives here where I am! She didn’t like me at the start but we get on better now and sometimes even sleep on the same bed!
I was called Pingu when I lived with you but Rob one of my owners thought I needed a man’s name and so I got renamed Charlie which I love!
You should see the food here – it’s like never ending! And I even have a fountain for my water! If I hang around in the kitchen when cooking is going on most of the time I am sure to get something else! I love ham and licking the cheese flavour of quavers! Its bliss!
We live where there is a field behind us and it’s great for exploring and needless to say I get up to lots of things my owners don’t know about!! I always let them know when I am back though as I give a really loud miawo to announce it!! He He!!
Most of the time I test out various places to sleep in the house and apparently I sleep in really weird angles and cause great amusement for everyone!
Anyway, thanks for letting me come and live here and finding some really nice owners for me! I am really happy!
