Bits and Bobs
Thank you for keeping us stocked up with essentials! Our "Wish List" has been both popular and useful so here's more things we wish we had...
- 'Cat Milk' for our weaning babies please!
- Thick bleach, for keeping everything spotless for our fussy felines!
- KITTEN FOOD!!! It's kitten season and any tins or pouches of kitten food are greatly appreciated. Whiskas unfortunately named "Kitten in Loaf" is perfect for younger kittens with tiny teeth.
- Have you adopted a cat from us? Get in touch with stories, pictures, poems... it's really good to hear how much their lives have changed for the better!
- More volunteers! As school holidays approach fast and the kitten season gives no let up we are keen to enrol more helpers to clean out and cuddle kits/cats. Please get in touch if you feel you may be able to help. Volunteers are also desperately needed in our charity shop in Attleborough.
- 2nd class stamps. We try to keep our administration costs down to a minimum and this is one way you can help!
- Any unwanted clothing, linen, bags or shoes, as we receive money for recycling textiles. We have noticed a drop in donated clothes recently so please ask all your friends and family to save their unwanted clothes for us!
- Kitchen roll to help with little "accidents"!
- Vileda Magic Mop refill heads. They don't last us long but our cats do love spotless floors!! [Please note: the heads must be MAGIC MOP only which are a wedge shape, thank you!]
- A kind PAT tester. Amongst our donations we frequently receive amazing quality electrical items which, by law, we must throw away. If only we knew a friendly PAT tester we could sell these items in our Charity Shop. (It would probably take about an hour of your time once a month.)
- A water butt so we can save rain water for the new memorial garden, which planting has now begun on!
- 2"x4" treated timber and fenceposts desperately needed for building projects on site.
- Things we didn't know that we need! Can you think of anything to make life easier for either our cats or volunteers?
